High Streets Calamity Jane came to Australia as a foal at foot with her dam, The Sykes Filly, at only a few months old. We couldn’t believe the quality of this girl when we first laid eyes on her! The amount of silky feather on this girl was super impressive, and so well stamped by Black Davey himself… there was no way this girl was getting away!
Janey is growing up to be a most obliging little super star. She will be seen on the show circuit very soon!

This exquisite red and white filly will join our other young ladies late in 2012. Her sire has always had a place in my heart, her dam in a cracking mare aswell, so we are confident in the quality of this girl. We love watching the young ones grow, and this is one to watch out for!

A once in a lifetime window of opportunity presented itself to us… One Eye is up there in my top 3 cobs of all time, so when this opportunity arose, we grabbed it with both hands. This little lady has the stamp of a stallion already. Legs 11, her dam has the best set of legs i have ever seen, and she has passed them on to Senhorita. Set to make 14.2hh, this lass is a one of a kind, and we are keeping her close to our chest. She will be a ride and drive mare once matured, and will grace the show rings of Australia to exhibit her marvellous beuty, substance and sheer quality.

 Little Alice is now at High Street, in the Play Pen, with our other fillies. Her nature is flawless, she is the kindest soul. We discovered in the months after buying Alice that she is almost completely blind, with only a little sight left in her left eye. She spent an extended period of time in a specialist hospital in Brisbane to receive the care she needed, and is now back home with us. Shattered as we were, we are committed to providing a safe haven for Alice, to enjoy her life in a family environment. Little Alice is always obliging, sweet & gentle, my husband is deeply in love with this hairy little lass. No objections here, she is a winner of hearts, mine included.

A stunning  buckskin filly,  who is very tall already, to make a very big mare, over 15hh. She has one creme gene and one red gene, so will make palamino and buckskin foals, an exciting addition to our dilute breeding program. Fair Lady arrived at High Street Gypsy Cobs in July 2011, and is settling in with the young ladies very well. She is extremely affectionate and very gentle. She is the first to let out a whinny when she sees me coming! Sweet as sweet can be.
